🛌 Pre-Trek Day: Arrival & Stay in Senaru

Pickup from Lombok International Airport, Bangsal harbor, Mataram, Senggigi, or Kuta Lombok.

Transfer to a local accommodation in Senaru Village, the gateway to Rinjani.

Free time to explore local waterfalls or relax with views of the volcano.

Pre-trek briefing with your guide in the evening.
Overnight: Local guesthouse/homestay in Senaru (private room, breakfast included)
🥾 Day 1: Senaru – Sembalun – Sembalun Crater Rim (Plawangan Sembalun)

06:30 – Transfer from Senaru to Sembalun (1,150 m) by car (approx. 45 mins)

08:00 – Start trekking through savannah and open grasslands

Lunch at Pos 2 (Tengengean, 1,500 m)

Continue through steeper trails to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m)

Enjoy panoramic sunset views of the crater lake, Mt. Rinjani summit, and surrounding islands
Camp: At Sembalun Crater Rim
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
🌄 Day 2: Summit Attempt – Sembalun – Senaru – Drop-Off

02:30 – Light breakfast and start summit push (approx. 3-4 hours climb)

05:30 – Reach the Rinjani summit (3,726 m) in time for sunrise!

Enjoy breathtaking views of the crater lake, Mt. Agung (Bali), and Mt. Tambora (Sumbawa)

Descend back to crater rim for proper breakfast

Trek back down to Sembalun (approx. 5–6 hours)

Transfer back to Senaru (or drop-off at your next destination)
